China is planning to open its Five-hundred-metre Aperture Spherical Telescope, or FAST, to international scientists who wish to carry out measurements.
The world’s largest radio telescope, FAST can be used to observe the cosmos and celestial bodies for astronomical research.
China opened up access to the facility after the world’s second-largest radio telescope, the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico, collapsed on December 1.
Some truly good news. China opening access to the world's largest radio telescope. Space is bigger than all of us. Its riches should be available to all of humanity. Thank you, China!
It is through collaboration that we can find the answers to the universe.
